All fatherhood on earth stems from God the Father in heaven. Unlike any earthly father, Father God is perfect in all His ways. He is Love personified. Through repentance and acceptance of the sacrifice of the life of His Son Yeshua (Saviour) on the cross, our sins are forgiven and we are reconciled to Abba (Daddy) Father in heaven.  In natural life, good fathers do not merely ‘make’ babies and then abandon them. True fathers not only seed children, but also take responsibility for them, especially when they are young. They love, care and provide for them. They train and lead them to maturity, they help them discover their unique identity and calling and be established. Same is true for good spiritual ‘Fathers’ (or ‘Mothers’).

FISH  |  FISHER  |  FATHER

Feed My lambs ...
Tend My sheep ... Feed My sheep ...
(John 21:15-17)

At Harvest Net Africa we are passionate about lost souls being born again , but also about helping these newborn believers grow spiritually. We want them to understand and experience baptism in water and in the Holy Spirit. We want them to be discipled and becoming mature and steadfast believers, able to expand the Kingdom and catch Fish themselves and multiply. HNA seeks to also care for the Practical needs of trained Fishers. We build dynamic relationships and connections (structures) with local Associate ministries and organisations to assist in training and accelerating Fishers in practical life skills and other basic skills development. Our Net and Network of living connections are established to assist souls to make both spiritual and practical progress.

FISH ... a saved or not-yet-saved person

FISHER (or Harvester) ...
a trained Fisher of men, passionate about soul-winning and discipleship

FATHER ... a mature and experienced Fisher,
able to lead others to salvation,
able to care for, grow, equip, empower
and provide fatherly oversight to Fishers and to newly caught Fish

Have you ever heard of 20|20 vision?

20|20 vision refers to perfect vision, but at Harvest Net Africa we have F3-vision!

F3-vision
refers to  Fish | Fisher | Father vision.   Fish are caught by the Word of God (i.e. by a Fisher skilfully operating the Word of God). Then redeemed Fish have to be taught and instructed on how to become loving, compassionate and active Fishers (Harvesters) themselves. Such training or discipleship is done by Fishers and by mature Fathers whose lives are modelling true ‘fatherhood’. Fathers assist Fishers to become mature and over time grow into becoming Fathers themselves. Spiritual fatherhood is not dependent on age, but on spiritual maturity and the character of a person.  (Remember that the term 'father' also includes 'mother'.)

As the number of committed Fishers of men increases in Africa, and Fishers relationally connect to each other and become part of the Continental Net of labourers, partners and supporters, HNA envisions that a   F3 (Fish | Fisher | Father) Movement   will gain momentum and transform Africa from grassroots levels up. With increasing numbers of believers in Africa reshaping and basing their lives on Biblical foundations and principles, having abolished generational witchcraft and idolatry practices (which resulted in systemic poverty, disease, hunger, starvation, death, etc), Africa will rise to her calling and destiny. With her mind renewed from dependency / colonial and paternalistic thinking, her spirit set free from orphan, entitlement, victim and poverty spirits, Africa will no longer be begging for bread from other nations. She will take up her responsibility to be fruitful, creative, productive and prosperous herself.  Once defiled roots (altars) in her people and defilement of land have been cleansed by the Blood of Yeshua, the clean land and healthy roots of Africa will produce healthy fruit and food for the nations ... both spiritually and physically.
